The title of this piece of work is "Mooring". Like many of the others, it was intended to be Part of the Scenery in "Scenery of North Kerry", but found its way into the garden when it got a bit crowded inside the house.
On its way it stopped by the local beach, where it seems to fit a little bit more appropriately.
Its somewhat disheveled look is of course deliberate.
Turn it round, and it becomes, conveniently, a cabinet full of all the colours that are needed to paint the scenery.
