Floor Space

Ever since I first created my gallery / studio / intallation it has been notionally divided into four spaces. (It used to be divided up, by screens, but these are now long gone). There was the cottage on the beach, where the artist came at the weekends to paint. All that is left of that now is the flag-stone floor.

There was the garden which had been created by the fisherman who used to live in the cottage

There was the beach, which the artist walked out onto, from the cottage,

before going round the corner to the quiet spot where he sat and did his paintings.
