Painting Corners

This large painting has had to be cut into two parts and bent into a rectangle to fit it in to the studio.



It is the North end of the promenade on the Ladies' Strand, in Ballybunion, and the place where I most like to sit to paint en plein aire / in situ / in the open air.



But when the weather is cold, painting in the car becomes the only option, if you want to paint "on the spot".

This is another painting corner. The painting is of the North cliffs, and the corner is in the garden.
